Born in Tehran in 1989, Reza is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and experimental artist whose work bridges Eastern and Western cultures. He began his musical journey at the age of six under the guidance of his father, Maestro Shahram Mirjalali, learning the Tombak and Tar. By fourteen he was already performing concerts, and at seventeen he began touring internationally with his father.

Since moving to the Netherlands in 2012 to study World Music at Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam, Reza has built a rich career as a soloist and collaborator, performing on stages across Europe, the Middle East, and beyond. His artistry is rooted in the traditions of Persian classical music yet continually expands through dialogues with Indian, jazz, and contemporary experimental music.
