DESCRIPTION:How can art and culture transform\, redefine and resist the
  urban city landscape? How do we reclaim urban spaces that often exclude
  or erase us\, and reimagine them as sites of belonging\, resistance\,
  care\, and desire? \n\nIn this opening event of the Queering Urban Spaces
  festival\, we gather with artists and performers who will share their
  visions and practices with us throughout the weekend. Through
  interventions in and around the UTOPIA Kiosk in Stuttgart\, they will
  explore how queerness can reshape the streets\, corners\, and atmospheres
  of the city.\n\n// \n\nWie können Kunst und Kultur die urbane Umgebung
  verändern\, neu definieren und ihr Widerstand leisten? Wie können wir
  uns städtische Räume zurückerobern\, die uns oft ausschließen oder
  auslöschen\, und sie als Orte der Zugehörigkeit\, des Widerstands\, der
  Fürsorge und der Sehnsucht neu denken? \n\nBei dieser
  Eröffnungsveranstaltung des Queering Urban Spaces Festivals kommen wir
  mit Künstler*innen und Performer*innen zusammen\, die uns das ganze
  Wochenende über ihre Visionen und Praktiken vorstellen werden. Durch
  Interventionen im und um den UTOPIA Kiosk in Stuttgart werden sie
  untersuchen\, wie Queerness die Straßen\, Ecken und Atmosphären der
  Stadt neu gestalten kann.
